Each day is a new experience; a journey; and it's important to feel encouraged by simple things....sometimes is hard, but keep on walking.
This is the latest abstract I painted entitled "The Journey"--it sold, so this one will not be with me tonight--but a few other originals will be featured at Kadair's.
Come on by tonight--- Cause for a Cure between 7 and 9 pm. Kadair's is on Essen Lane. I will have a few originals, prints and it should be alot of FUN.
Ok...I cannot sit at this computer any longer. Have a great day.

New York..Flying out tomorrow
I am flying out tomorrow morning at 6:15 to NYC. So--one last look at a landscape/abstract....relaxing. Tomorrow--tall buildings and lots of people will surround us--and Starbucks will overflow--there is one on almost every corner. I am ready for a good slice of pizza too-
This painting is now hanging at Tyler & Possa Law firm on Broussard near St. Joseph's Academy.
prints will be made soon...Adios Blog

Sunday's Best
Since today is Sunday---well---here is #7 in the Crawfish Series--Sunday's Best--located at The Foyer in Baton Rouge.
This painting makes me think of a song we sung at Camp Mountain Lake in Tracy City, Tn. on Sunday--Church in the Wildwood. I went to that camp each summer for a month since the time I was 8 years old until 18. The camp was nestled in the Cumberland Mountains --not far from Sewanee, TN.
Those summers were the BEST. In fact, I will get to see one of my summer camp friends, Whitney Johnson, this week when I go to NYC. She works for Partisan Pictures and has had the opportunity to travel the world.
